Look, But Don’t Touch!

In addition to the thousands of fish on display, the National Aquarium features several amphibians. These poisonous frogs are among the most deadly creatures on earth, but luckily they’re found only in the tropical forests of South America. Including in this group is the Golden Poison Frog, whose skin secretes enough venom to kill 10 men. I don’t know about you, but I was glad they were kept safely behind the glass!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and be sure to check back for more aquarium fun coming soon!
